HISTORY
In business since 1991, Gourmet Express Catering has grown from a local Olney, Md. firm to today’s corporate caterer for the tri-state area, now servicing the Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Maryland regions.

STAFF
Kitchen staff
We are very proud of our well-trained staff, dedicated to preparing only the freshest food in our state-of the-art safe commissary environment. Atypical of our industry, the majority of our employees have been on staff for 5 years or longer, an indication of their commitment and their expertise and particularly important for consistency of product and safe preparation techniques. At Gourmet Express, we value our employee family and provide our employees health insurance, profit sharing, and vacation time. They are important to us and to the quality product they deliver to our customers.

KNOWLEDGE
We know our clients. Having catered corporate luncheons and dinners for several years, we are very knowledgeable about the businesses, hospitals, corporations, and offices in the DC, Baltimore and northern Virginia areas. We even keep files on all our deliveries; we are careful not to duplicate entrees within a short time frame.

ETHICS
At Gourmet Express, we use only the finest, freshest ingredients. To ensure the quality, we always prepare our food the day of...not a day ahead of time. Gourmet Express delivers the highest quality, cost effective, corporate catering to our “partners.”

Our delivery personnel are also very professional. They appreciate the importance of being on time for our customers, are very knowledgeable with regard to our delivery areas, and share our commitment to quality service.
